War Eagle Rainbow lights

Just wondering if anyone was using the rainbow lights and if they were sufficient enough to use without having to guide with a spotlight. Their about $100, and I wouldn't want to make the purchase if I couldn't eliminate having to hold a spotlight. Spotlights sure make your hands cold on those long trips.
