Our AG is a Democrat. Otherwise it'd already have been filed. See post above about Haley and running for Guv Bryant.

You don't know what the hell you are talking about! I grew up with him and went to school with him. He's as good as gold! If he doesn't see a need to file them he obviously has a reason to believe it would be a waste of taxpayer money. I personally don't know, but I assure you if that's what needs to be done, he will do it! He aint scared of no one, Democrat, Republican, and anyone else in politics!

As soon as I am proven wrong and he files to strike down this blatant unconstitutional law, I will personally send an email to his office apologizing and cc you. Until that day my opinion stand firm.

I have an honest question. If it is unconstitutional for the US Government to force us to have health insurance, then why was it not unconstitutional for the State of MS to force us to buy automobile insurance?

I believe that the auto ins. law is in place to protect the other folks on the road that you may hit with your vehicle. I could be wrong, it happens daily.

yep. minimal limits of 25/50/25 is required by law in MS. which is liability only. it's to protect the person not at fault

Car insurance is required moreso for the protection of other drivers, not necessarily just you. Plus, its only required if you drive. A person does have the option of not driving. The only way to avoid buying health insurance now is to die. That kinda infringes on that whole Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness thing. At least that's how I see it.

Re: WHERE IS DA MS AG?
Hood probably can't file the suit due to a conflict of interest stemming from his extended "family" -and its apparently a pretty big "family".
And if the suit is not one that would generate a lot of legal fees for his campaign donors (which can then be funneled back into his campaign war chest), then he is for sure not interested.
But don't worry. His days as AG are numbered: about 20 months left. Then, he will be back in Chickasaw County.

I was just checking because the words didn't describe the one I knew or I guess his reputation.
