60 Day Season

Inside sources at MDWF&P told me that the 60 day season is a done deal. Just waiting for the official word.
Anyone else heard anything?

I heard the same thing form a source close to Trent Lott. I hope it is true but if the Yankees have anything to do with it we will be out of luck.

I still think that not letting people hunt over Christmas is a poor choice. Louisiana traditionally has an earlier season that begins in November and I've only had marginal luck with it. The whole month of Jan is great. As far as all of those extra weekdays in the begining of the month-fine. I'm not moved one way or the other. I think that most birds don't show up till later in Dec. That is my over rated 2cents.
