have any of you guys used the underground fence systems? I would like to hear from someone who has any experience with these things. It seems that if your dog is hard headed enough he could just bolt over and be free to roam. Thanks fellas.

I had a buddy with 2 dobermans. He put an underground fence. He also staked it with flags about every 10'. He was able to take the flags down after a week.

I wouldn't ever use underground fence as the sole method to keep your dog on your property. Better to use if you want to keep the dog out of the wife's garden/flower bed.
In my friend's neighborhood dogs run free when the electricity blips out. Then they have a cattle round up to find 'em and put 'em back.
Let that dog come in the house. You'll both be happier.

Thanks for the advise, but there will be no dog living in this house. He may come in for short visits though.
