go to Gatortraxboats.com and build you a custom boat that will be much better than a wareagle. Jimmy can hook you up on a deal.
Do you eat duck meat?

I got a 1754 and a buddy has a 1548. Great boats, dont think you can go wrong with a War Eagle.

Good boats, but just for fishing, I would go with an F&F custom built to your specs. You also won't pay as much as a War Eagle.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

I HAVE A 1648 LDV THAT I BOUGHT NEW IN 04, I HAVE HAD IT IN ALOT OF ROUGH STUFF, NO PROBLEMS!!!!!! ITS A GREAT BOAT, THE SMALL LAKES AND RIVERS I BASS FISH IN THE SUMMER WORKS PERFCT FOR ME. I HAVE 25 MERC ON MINE, ITS RATED FOR A 40 BUT WITH ALOT OF MANAGEMENT AREAS YOU CAN ONLY RUN A 25, I ALSO HAVE A MINNKOTA 12 VOLT TROLLING MOTOR SET UP ON MINE, ASK YOUR DEALER FOR A DEMO RIDE, IF YOU GET ONE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I used to have a 1648 War Eagle, and that boat had to be the wettest boat I have ever been in. It did not take choppy or rough water well at all. I currently have a 1860 F&F. Don't think you can go wrong that way. Call up there and talk to Doug. They will build it just about however you want it, and it won't cost nearly as much as the War Eagle. Much better built boat in my opinion as well.

I had a 1542 war ealgle and the thing I didnt like about it, was how low the transom was. If you had to come to a stop quickly, it was certain that water was coming over the back. Also, you can get a thicker gauged aluminum boat for alot less than a war eagle.....kind of like a Harkey Davidson...your paying for that name

War eagle is a good boat, cookie cutter boat, that is expensive for what you get.

I have had F&F build my boats and they do a supper job a much better boat for ALOT less money 870-367-8311, ask for Doug.

If i had funds to buy a NEW boat right now to run an outboard on it would be the Excel viper hull f-4 model with a kick up bracket like a cmc , its like a bass boat hull, Its suppost to be a fast hull and set up to get into the tight places. Has lights and compartments everywhere built into the boat to optimize space, looks like a REAL sweet rig. I got a price on the new excel f-4 17 foot for 5200 just more than I can pay right now.
