Athletes!!!

Postby cervelo » Wed Jan 27, 2010 1:49 pm

I know that I mentioned diets the other day and I was just wondering if we had anyone exercising regularly. If so, how many miles do you exercise in a week and what do you do? Do you bike, run, walk or whatever. Just curious.

i exercise five nights a week. i usually start off by running a mile at a medium jog, then hit the weights for about 2 hours (you can throw in some fast moving workouts if your trying to lose fat), then i get back on the treadmill and run 2 miles and walk half.
its seems to keep me in pretty good shape

What are you wanting to accomplish? Strength, Weightloss, Less trouble walking in waders?

P90X is a good program.

I do cardio workouts Mon, Tuesday,Wendsday and Thursday. I run 5 miles in 50 minutes on a elipticle 3 days a week. On monday I do one hour in the morning one hour at night, Tuesday light day one hour at night, Wendsday one hour in the morning 5miles eliptical in the evening, Thursday 5miles in the morning one hour cardio class at night, off Friday Saturday cardio and run in the morning. Everyday I do a weight routine for different body groups (light weights). Sunday I lay on the couch and remember when it did not hurt.

I was just trying to get an idea if we had some regular exercisers on the site.
I am trying to lose a little weight and tone up. I have the P90x workout. I will have to give it a go

Some say I have the metabolism of a hummingbird, so that is my exercise.

Well, the plus side is if you look at my dad, my grandfather, and my 3 uncles, they all on the slim side. So it's in my blood.

that and I'm just as active as a hummingbird when I'm awake and I think even when I'm asleep, my mind still goes 100 mph. I don't see myself slowing down anytime soon. I have slowed down some now with my daughter, but once she is older and alb eto walk and hang around me, I'll be much more active again. My lifestyle is my exercise. Lets just say if it's daylight outside, I'm not inside watching TV.

Then I got tired!

Why lift weights? Those things are heavy.
