i am gonna buy some new decoys pretty quick, (probably when they go on sale)

.
I am getting some pintail, gadwall, probably a few more mallard, and a few canada goose.
I was wondering what you guys think is the most realistic and reliable brand for all of these species.

G&H......but that's just my opinion based on 44 years of waterfowling and using G&H products.

G&H hands down. I Texas rig mine and have never used a decoy bag. They beat and bang around in boats, 4 wheelers, trucks, canoes etc..... and they still look great

Love G&H. I also have some Cabelas Real Image that look great. They are 3 years old and still look good. Not sure about long term on those. My G&H have been used for 12 years now and still look good. I would probably give the Real Image an advantage on Life Like but both look good.

I really like Herters but it will be 20 years before I have a big spread of them. I try to get 1/2 dozen a year but they are bullet proof, seriously they are.

I've got some of the Real Image that are 7 years old and look great with the exception of the ones that my lab got a hold of when he was a year old. G&H are longtime favorites for a lot of folks.
Remember, you get what you pay for.

I bought some Red Head decoys this year that i think are great. They have a removable keel and are much cheaper than comparable decoys. I would have bought G&H but i was on a budget and in a hurry. I have ended up being a big fan of the red heads though and will buy them in the future
ETA: I have only had them for 2 months and cant speak for their durability yet

G&H hands down. I like the Cabela's real-image or whatever they call them, too. But they are a distant second to G&H.

Definately get some G&Hs. I got several dozen 3 years ago and they hold up great. The paint is still on them and they look new. Spend the extra $$$$ and get the magnums with the swivel heads. They also have pintails, gadwalls, etc.

Before this year I would have said G&H also, but I bought myself a new dozen of their Mallards w the swivel heads back in the summer, the paint started coming off of them after one trip from East MS to the Delta and back. I am pretty down on G&H as a result of it. Not sure what my next ones will be, but they probably won't be G&H.

I agree with Unkjohn. I have 2 dozen G&H that I have had for 8 years and they look new. There has been 3 different guys from our camp buy G&H this year and the paint is coming off of every one of them. I have never seen their decoys do this. If I was buying some this year I would look into drake's decoys. Anybody have any drake decoys, good or bad?

pick yourself up some Autumn Wings for around $500 / half dozen.
