I own 2 of them, one for me and a youth model for my daughter, and a good friend owns 1 as well. We all really like them. We've had them about a year and a half and haven't had the first minutes trouble. Shoot a box of high brass through it and clean it good when you first get it to help with cycling the cheaper shells. I've killed rabbits and dove with mine, even a couple wood ducks. For the money, I don't think you can go wrong.

You asked for opinions and, no offense, here's mine. Spending money on a mossberg is a total waste.

not gonna hurt my feelings lol, i have a general rule of thumb that if it isnt italian i aint buyn lol. But im so short sited and biased to think im smarter than gun designers so its very possible that mossberg made a good gun in th sa 20, thats why i asked. When i was younger i had a mossberg 500 20 gauge as my first gun and i would dare some one to call those guns junk after they owned one. They may not be pretty or feel solid but they shot without being cleaned much. Thats all im looking for in a small auto, somethin light and something that will burn shells as fast as i pull the trigger

I would agree with the "bad benelli" statement. Have seen 1 other that was a problem gun and unfixable. My dad, brother, and I have been shooting them since the early 90's (only dad is shooting a different Benelli now since he wore his out) and 99% of any problems I've had have been from the ammo. I love mine and would never shoot anything else.
