Louisiana Duck Trip

What licenses/duck stamps do I need to get to go on a duck hunting trip in Louisiana if I am from Mississippi? I will only be hunting for three days. I know I need the small game/migratory bird license but did not know what stamps I need or if I can get a license for three days or if I have to buy the single day licenses for three times.

Thanks in advance for the help.

you will need a state stamp from louisiana but you can use a federal stamp that is affixed to your home state license.

You will need:

Out of state basic hunting license, state duck stamp, and if you will be hunting public land a non res WMA permit. Not many ducks down here in many places so good luck.

If you were born in La. and live in another state now, you can get a native non resident license. (cheap) Go to La. department of wildlife web site and you can search for it and it will tell you what you need to get the license.

Louisiana lets you buy trip licenses by the day for 29 dollars each day. Otherwise, it's 150 for the season.
