Congrats to Alabama

Let me be the first (I think) to say congratulations to the Alabama fans on this board. The better team won last night in an interesting game. All the shoulda, coulda, woulda stuff amounts to nothing for Texas...they got physically whipped. I am afraid that the road to the top of the SEC mountain is going to be long and bumpy for fans of any school other than Alabama for quite some time.

Bama deserves it, they played a tough schedule and only had a few shaky moments all year. Ingram seems like a good kid and had a great game. I don't understand the fake punt call early on but they played like champions.

Don't do Basketball...as Ty Cobb once said, Basketball is a game played by (slang term for African-Americans) in their underwear.

I am, however, ready for baseball. I think my alma mater has a really good shot at making it back to Omaha.

Here is my bold, day-after football prediction...Bama plays either USC or Ohio State for the National Title again next year.

Bama beat 3 top ten teams and 5 top 25 teams this year. The deserve the National Championship!!!

not sure if bama can make it back again next year, we get back pretty much the entire offense, but lose a lot on defense, especially if McClain goes pro, which I am sure he will.
