What hotel in New Orleans?

Taking the wife to NOLA for the first weekend in Feb. What hotels should I look into? Been years since I have been down there.
Around $100.00 per night is my budget. I want to be within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Driving down so parking is a consideration as well...

Royal sonesta is right around your price and it is nice and on Bourbon. Also 37 steps from lobby to the lobby of Ricks!!!

LaPavillion(sp?).....I called last yr and worked them down to $99 / night. Dang good food at hotel and get their Bananas Foster too!!

Royal Sonesta is my favorite hotel in NOLA, right in the middle of bourbon. It is usually a good bit more than $100 when I stay there but we usually only stay there for big weekends like halloween and stuff when the rates are higher.
