I purchased a Remington 870 Express Supermagnum (3.5") real cheap to have has a backup gun. Luckily, I haven't needed it because when I first tried to shoot it, I had two problems with it. First, the the gun would not eject the shell but the bolt would come about halfway back and then stick and it was obviously hanging on something. Also, sometimes when shooting heavy loads, the bolt will not stay shut and come back after the shot even before I pump it. I've done enough research on the guns now to know that this gun has a few issues but, as I mentioned, I got it cheap so I'm willing to invest a little money in it to get it dependable and operable. This brings me to my question....does anybody know someone in the Oxford area that works on Remington's? If so, please give me your feedback on who I should take it to.
Thanks in advance for your help!
