One Shot Payne's crew

Stopped in at PeaSoup's in Indianola today for some lunch. It was crowded as usual so i placed my order and looked around for an open table or one with few enough customers to bum a seat from. Notice 3 young gentlemen dressed in duckhunting garb so i figure i could at least ask for a seat and carry on a little duck hunting conversation. They didn't mind sharing a table with a grey bearded ol fart so we struke up the usual conversation-where ya from, who ya kin to, any luck, yada, yada. Well something turns the conversation to the ducksouth forum. You on it, yeah, how long, what's your tag, did you read the One Shot Payne post. Yes, laughed my ass off for days etc.
Two of the guys (RNT & duck somethin or other-forgive me I can't remember) said, we were on that unfortunated adventure. As a matter of fact, Payne is my roommate at MSU and those were my decoys!  That's when sweet tea came flyin out of my nose!
According to my new lunch mates, tie down straps were actually in the back of the truck and no one bothered to use em.
I asked if OSP replaced his decoys and he said -no. :? To those that offered him some used decoys I don't think you are obligated to fulfill that promise due to the above mentioned circumstances. :D However, i had stated that i would provide 2 boxes of 3"- #3's. I partly fulfilled my obligation by handing said roomate 1 box of 3"- #4's to deliver to Ol One Shot with a promise to hand over the other box but OSP would have to pick them up in person. Why you ask? I just have to meet the guy that make me laugh till my guts hurt for days.
Well gentlemen, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you at lunch and hope you have good hunting this week while in the delta. Try to keep ol One Shot straight over there at the cow college.

I took it out in Arkieland. A few miles west of Stuttgart.
