Bought one last night at Sam's for my wife. A guy I work with bought one and it is a cool little cam. Takes really good HD video. The UltraHD is the one I got.

Cool, I've been looking at the reviews and they seem pretty good for a pocket cam. Read some bad reviews about the digital zoom capabilities, but in all honesty you cant expect a device like that to zoom in 500 yds on a deer :)

Yeah, I don't think it would work well to video hunts, but I might have to try it anyway  ..... It should work well for capturing(on video) the kids and things like that around the house.

I have one. works great for videoing kids. Needs good lighting, limited zoom, but what do you expect from something the size of a cell phone. We have used it a lot more than the camcorder.

easy to use and very easy to download. you don't need to install the software unless you want to use their photo software, it reads just like a normal usb stick drive. we take ours to park city every year and it does well.

I gave my wife her's today. It is really cool.

I do have a question for you guys that have one. When you play back and watch video on the LCD...it is really clear and smooth...but when you play it on our laptop, it seems to be less clear and kind of jumpy. Is that due to the limitations of the laptop video card?

not sure about why it is jumpy, but i have noticed that, especially when using the zoom. a lot of that may be that there is no image stabilization (at least not in the one we have).
