Hello everyone and hope your duck season has been productive so far. Sorry for the late start on our daily reports but really there hasn't been much to report on until yesterday and today.
Today we had 12 hunters kill a total of 50 ducks consisting mostly of mallards with a few gadwalls, bluebills and teal mixed in as well. Killed a big double banded greendhead this morning with a $50 reward band on one leg!
We appreciate everyone that followed us last year and especially the ones that came for a hunt. There are plenty of openings so give Catfish (662.375.2116); Bolton (662.392.0740); or Alben (662.299.0462) a call to book a hunt today!

At first glance I thought the big guy in the first pic was wearing a beret, and starting thinking "Great! Now we've got French topwaters to deal with!"

Didnt ya know. Ducks, like dogs, have a hard time discerning the color orange. Why do ya think a dog will run right by a orange bumper and never see it on a blind
Congrats on the Bands!

Friday we had 8 hunters kill a total of 25 ducks that consisted of mostly mallards with a few wood ducks.
Today we only had 1 hunter that killed 4 ducks: 3 wood ducks and a greenhead.
Need more hunters so give us a call to book a hunt!
Hope everyone has a great shoot tomorrow!

I know some good freinds of mine from baton rouge and Venice just got back from huting with you all and they had a great time and good hunting. So much so you may have my group up there before end of season.

I hunt with Catfish on occasion. He has some fine mallard hunting and treats you right. I usually lease a field and forgo the guide.

On Sunday December 13, we had a great day with 6 hunters getting a full limit of mallards, wood ducks and teal. 36 ducks on a Sunday morning isn't bad but could've used more hunters! Especially with us getting another banded greenhead!!! That makes 3 bands so far this year with the first being a double banded greenhead!
