Lisc required for non-hunter?
I have done a couple of searches and can't find the answer.

What are the MS rules about someone Going with a duck hunting party but not carrying a gun? Do they have to have Lisc.?

I will be visiting realitives in Jackson over Christmas, and will be going hunting near Vicksburg for a couple of days. New girl friend is coming with me and asked if she could go with us on the hunt. (I really think that she doesn't want me to leave her with at my Aunt for 2 days).

If out-of-state Lisc is necessary for her to tag along, then the decision is easy. I just need to know what the rules are.

Thank you in advance for your help.

God Bless you

I think the wording is that they can not materially participate in the hunt.
Wingman should be able to help you out...

To my knowledge, the wording is "participates in the hunt"
Which can be construed in many ways by the arresting officer.

I called them a couple of years ago about this. An observer does not need a liscence.

I have a friend who has a house at Eagle Lake, I am sure he would be more than happy to watch her while you hunt.
