Worried about my Truck Tires!!!!!

Guys......so after getting into nursing school down here in Mobile......I started to explore ways that I could make it cheaper on myeself. So i decided to apply for residency.....so the lady shows me the list of things I have to have and sure enough.....THERE IT IS......staring me right in the face.........Possession of an Alabama License Plate.......AHHHHHH. So I checked into it further and short of Joining the National guard......there was no way around it. Well anyways....I just got back from the DMV and I almost had a break down. What i'm really worried about though is the brand new set of Nitto's I just put on my truck.....I really don't think they should have to suffer being cut down in their prime, because of a selfish money saving venture on my part.

But anyways.......i guess as to adhere to tradition.......my first post as an official Alabamaphyte.....

What is duck movement looking like in the Delta?
Is Matthew's Brake a good place to hunt?
Does anyone know where I might could purchase one of those HARDCORE WATERFOWLER decals?

Sincerely,

Focker

Due to my lack of sensitivity toward the bestestmostesthardcorenestwaterfowlenestwhackinnstackinestm'fers on the planet, and the fact that I may want to sell something on this site, and one day you will pay more land taxes than me....I guess I will refrain from saying anything

Did you get a vanity plate? Save the Cahaba Lily or Alabama Shakespeare Festival?

I see a loop hole there in the bolded part. All it says is that you must possess an Alabama license plate. It don't chit about actually buying one. Shoulda just borrowed one from the parking lot. :D

Well, Pete, welcome to the realm of us disaffected transplants. Now I have someone with whom to share the woes of native-non-resident status. By buying that plate, you have sealed your fate, and are doomed to a life of topwaterism. Just remember to go home after you finish school. Do not take a job here, no matter how lucrative it may seem. Once you do, you are apparently banished forever from Mississippianism. Good luck with that.

Check list for Bama Residency for School (as I recall):
Alabama License Plate
Alabama Driver License
Alabama Address
Proof of Domicile for Greater than 3 Months (lease or mortgage)
Mullett
Proof of Heart Disease (EKG Reading)
Pledging Allegiance to the University of Alabama
Acknowledgement of Lord Saban as your Savior
Bull Balls hanging off receiver hitch (on car or truck)
Opposing Browning Logos on bottom corners of Rear Window (on truck or car)
Two pairs of overalls (one for Sunday at Church and one for the rest of the week)

Human physiology is different in Alabama as you will soon learn in school: enlarged hearts, smaller brains (and weiners), thicker hair patterns at the base of the back of the head and above the upper lip, Dickydo Syndrome is quite prevalent, hoof rot is actually seen in women, etc...
