I'm not so much as State fan, as I am a Bama hater. That was bad. Looked like they just laid down after the half. I still don't think Bama's that good though. Feel bad for all you Dogs out there. On the + side for Ms, the Rebs looked a'ight.

Breaux, I don't care if you graduated from State or not. You say you ain't a bandwagon fan, hell if you were you would be stuck in the middle of Montana right now waitin on a damn ride. On paper, there is no way State should beat Bama, however, if Bama shows up expectin to cruise thru with an easy win. State wins that ballgame. This was by far the best game I have seen Bama play this year. Their D was fierce, from the start to finish.

I will say that if State has a QB, might have been a different game, as a couple opportunities to score in the red zone resulted in TO's, which I said would have resulted in Bama rollin our asses. Pretty sure I was right.

I will say this, SEC fans mark my words, football is on the rise in Starkvegas. Bet the farm on that. Hell, it's likely to be DIB's lock of the week.

Bama did deserve to win, but the final score was not indicative of how close the game was.

I dont really know what you were expecting, I mean, it's the #2 team in the country who by the way played better than they have all year. I thought the Bullies had a slim chance only if Bama walked in and took State for granted. I thought they might considering they just clinched the West. There is a natural letdown after something like that, but to Bamas credit, they showed up ready to play and they were too much for the Bullies today.

Did we suck it up tonight? ABSOLUTELY but you should never ever be ashamed to call yourself a fan of any school. In fact if you are then you aint much of a damn fan to start with

From a diehard State fan....I hated to see 'em lose, too, but here's something else you can take to the bank....we got beat by this year's Nat'l Champs....bad as I hate to say it, they're that good, and they're going to beat Fla. or anyone else that gets on the field with them....Fla. has lost their fire and enthusiasm, but Bama hasn't....love him or hate him, Saban is a helluva coach and motivator.

i am a die hard state fan but bama is my number 2 team. and they have a chance at winning it all. so i am proud of the out come. but state will be a force to recon with in the next couple of years
