I friend of mine from GA wants to take his 11 yr old son and his father-in-law on a guided duck hunt this season. He is an experienced waterfowler. His son and his FIL have been duck hunting, but only a few times. They are looking for lodging and all-inclusive guiding. Since this is one of their big trips, they'd like it to be upscale.
My buddy is looking at Delta Duck Hunts and Tallahatchie Hunts. I'm sure there are a lot of others. If any of you have advice, experiences, or recommendations please shoot me a PM. Thanks.

They would have a good time with either of those two.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Also, just to be clear, they do not want to be guided on any of the public areas. They prefer to find a private lease guide service.

Tallahatchie would be my recommendation for you in MS. They had a good season last year. My friend guides and he has a great dog that would be a treat for you son to watch if never witnessed a hard working lab. Think the price is $275 a day not sure. With all this water and crops left in the field I really couldn't tell you how you would do. I have paid big money and due to bad timing with the weather had some of the worst hunts ever. But that was in Arkanasas. But that would be my choice you never know. I know you said that you wanted to stay at lodge but a premier place that would hard choose from Tallahactchi is Beaver Dam Hunting club and hunt with Mike Boyd. They don't have lodging but could stay in a hotel. When the conditions are right it is awsome. Have another buddy that guides there as well. Im pretty sure there booked for the year. PM me if have any questions or want more details. GOOD LUCK!!

I hunted with Delta Ducks last year on the last weekend of the season. It was a last minute deal where I called them on Tuesday and hunted on Thursday morning. It was just me and the young guide with no dog. They were nice folks and we shot 'em good. I don't think they have lodging, so you'd have to work that out.

Several to chose from:
Jason Christopher at Flyway Outfitters.com is a member of this board. They have lodging.
David Melton of Delta Duck Hunts.com is a member of this board. Around Tunica area.
Catfish Flautt @ Tally Hunts does a good job. I don't think Catfish has lodging. Not sure.
