Need some rain!!
Got some holes up by louise that need to be filled. 3 holes are already holding, but the are not planted and not exactly our honey holes. Anybody got any idea about how much rain we are supposed to get before Nov. 21? There is a canal about 1/3 of a mile away. Too far far pumping I guess.

You better make your own rain don't wait own Mother Nature. Third of mile is a fairly long pump but can be done. We're pumping a little over a half now. Took about 70 hours with a 10" relift about 2000g.p.m. just to get to the first riser. If you're going to use poly-pipe you only get one shot with it so make sure you make it count. If you've never used it before get someone who has to help you with it BEFORE YOU START!!!!!

BR 549, the poly pipe comes in rolls, all you have to do is hook it to the back of yo 4 wheeler and take off across the field. Hook it to the well and turn it on wide open!

On second thought you better listen to BR549.
Just a few pointers.
Collect about $510 for fuel and $200 for poly pipe!
1. Make sure you have a clear and relative smooth run.
2. Tie to the well. Be sure to pull enough poly pipe to hook on to the well.
3. Hook the roll where it unrolls to the bottom. Not over the top.
4. You will need to put a scoop of dirt on top of the poly pipe about every 10 yards. Wind or no wind.
5. Do not let the poly pipe twist!
You are ready to pump that high $ duckhole that just cost you another $700!
Good Luck!

That a boy DD, make somebody feel good about spending more money on their hole.
I am also concerned about the rain. We are right about 4 inches over the yearly average at this time. If you can rely on Ma nature to do one thing, its that she usually makes one extreme follow another. We had a lot of rain this summer and my fear is that we will have a very dry winter. I hope I am wrong, cause I gotta have some water for where I hunt, and fast.
