It was a while back I saw a post about someone that could replace the screen on an iphone that was in Tupelo. Does anyone have any info on this?

rsm688 is the guy on here that "Repaired iphone's" .... He told me mine could not be repaired. He offered to "buy it for parts", but I have no phone or payment?
Last responce was...
"Sorry I have been in the middle of moving and totally forgot, what is your address and I will get a check sent out."
Just saying be careful... I didn't have much to loose?

I'm Joey(Take 'em)'s friend that fixes the phones...
Have done a few of them now and am confident in the process.

IMO, the only "correct" way to do it without significant concern towards being scammed is how I'm doing it right now. I fix them immediately, while a person waits. This way, there is no "leap of faith" like there is when you mail your phone to someone you don't know or even drop it off with that person. I also don't get paid until you get the phone back and are happy with it. This provides a win/win for everyone involved, IMO!

It depends. Did it get wet? I've found that most of them that get wet don't actually "fry". They just burn out a power source somewhere between the battery and the functionality of the phone. So, the phone will come on/work on a charger, but when you try to unplug it, it dies immediately. It does this no matter what(you think the battery is bad, but it usually isn't).
IF the phone has never been wet, or isn't "fried", MOST of them are fixable. Screens and cases are easy. Your major issue to overcome is the battery/charging problem. I can fix the rest of your issues...
