Tree Stand Harness

Postby farmweather » Wed Oct 21, 2009 4:55 pm

Anyone have a tree stand harness they would like to sell? I am getting into climbing stand hunting and don't own a harness. I am open to suggestions of what type to buy, and am interested if anybody has one they'd like to get rid of.

The one I wear is old school but trust me IT WORKS LOL. If I was going to buy one now I would get the vest, even though Im not crazy about the straps around my legs, but all my friends have them and swear by them.

+1 Very comfortable and easy to use. I've got several cheap harnesses you are welcome to have if you ever get down around Vicksburg.

if you can wait till next week, ive got 3 at my camp that came with my loc-ons that i bought. you can have one of them. they are 5 point harnesses and with a lil practice are not that hard to get in and out of.

If you get the Hunter Safety System one........get a perforated one.......it's much cooler. I've seen one advertised lately by Gorilla. It looks pretty nice.

i hate the hunters safety system, the HUGE LOUD seatbelt buckles on the legs are what turn me off. other than that i guess they are ok.

i like seat o the pants also

Here is what i have and i like it alot. very easy to put on, light weight, and very packable.
