I was just going to share some of my thoughts here lately. Back in August I was accepted into the Registered Nursing (RN) program a ICC which was a great thing for me being from a small town. Grades are good and I couldnt be happier. However 4 years ago I decided to build a " duck pond " behind my grandmothers just along side the Tenn-Tom Waterway. With a small Massy-Ferguson tractor and a box blade I finally made what to seem to me as a good hunting hole. After last duck season the birds making their way back up seem to enjoy the spot and at one time there were good numbers of ducks on it. Today after the good rain we received I decided to take a trip down there to check up on my millet. What I saw was truly the greatest reward I have ever felt. Wood ducks, gadwalls, mallards, and a few teal were all over the place. Even though its early, you dont really see that much on this side of the state. It was truly a sight to see

Congrats on your new little honey hole. Hard to find these spot up hear in the north end of the state.

I am having Tupelo withdrawals down here is Georgia. The only thing that will save me is some pictures of your duck pond with ducks on it. Hope I can hang on long enough to make it back in January.
