Bill's Archery

I just dealt with these bunch of idiots for the last time. I took 7 Gold tip 5575 arrows up there that I bought two weeks ago to get them refletched. First of all, one of the fletchings flew off the first time I shot my bow, 2nd of all I dropped the arrows off Wednesday and I just called and they still aren't ready yet. WTF. That gave them 4 days, which is ample time, to rewrap my dead gum arrows. So I call just a second ago and the guy says well sir, we can't find any arrows under your name, then he puts me on hold for 7 minutes. 7 minutes is a d@mn long time to keep a customer waiting, and then they hang up on me. This should be good. I'll keep ya'll posted on the outcome.

sorry, I had to rant for a minute. i'll put my tampon back in

Bill has always been a Pain in the Butt anyway..Every now and then you'll catch him in a good mood, but most of the time he is mad at the world!!

Dude, buy you a $75 Bitzenburger fletcher and never worry about someone else fletching your arrows.

But yes, I agree with you on Bill's... I bought my Mathews from Lakeway, drove all the up to Grenada becasue of this very reason. Plus, the guy at Lakeway made it worth my while driving 3 hours round trip. It's all about customer service and how companies pride themselves on it.

Dead...

PS, If you need some arrows done, let me know, I'll fix them for you.

preciate it guys. I hate to bash them on the net. everything was ok when I got there. They found my arrows. Hopefully I won't have to deal with this anymore. I bought my bow at Lakeway as well. I like all those guys that work there.

Somebody's going back because he's still doing business. Maybe he just sells to first timers or something...

If you don't want to fletch your own buy the shrink wrap fletchings. I have my own jig, but started using the shrink wrap. A lot less trouble and time consuming. All you need is a hot glass of water.

That sounds about par for the course....

Dont let that idiot cut your arrows and put inserts in em either! I took a dozen arrows up there to get worked on and thought all was good because he did it quickly and right there in front of me. Start shootin the next day in the back yard and the inserts of 4 out of the 6 arrows i shot came out in the target when i pulled the arrows out. His dumb @ss glued em in there with regular super glue that gets hard and brittle when it dries so when they hit the target they just bust loose and come right back out....

I wont deal with anybody else but the Sports Center in Starkville now....

i agree with yall. Seems like Bill is mad at the world but I have never had any problems from him. He has always been good to me. but he is getting old and you know how us men get as we get older. So maybe cut him a little slack and just take your business else where.
