Looking For Competition Calls

I need some of yalls' opinions on the best competition calls money can buy, duck and goose. I want one that can hold the sound for as hard as I can blow, as I have many calls that will peak off, and crack the sound.

the best way, in my opinion, to find the best is look at their track records and see which has the most world titles

with all due respect, not necessarily: chances of them winning are alot better because there are alot more of them out there on the competition trail not just because they are the best but because they are the most well marketed....

for example flambeu decoys are they number one decoy in decoy spreads across the country, are they the best out there or just the best marketed??? I know for a fact they aren't the best but there are more of them out there than any other decoy sold :?

In all honesty they are all really good calls and you should go sit down with each of the call makers and blow their calls, find out what kind of person they are, and go with the one that best suites your personality and calling style. I did get a chance to sit down and talk to all the call makers but one but I did blow all their calls and ended up with what I ended up with plus he's only a couple of hours from the house and a Mississippi guy :D

that is true that you need to blow as many calls as you can and pick the one that fits you the best, but there is a reason that more people blow rnt and echo than any other call company and its because they fit more people than the others and because they have the best people out there producing them.

yes these companies have the best out there blowing them, but they are blowing them for a reason and i dont think its marketing.

most every comp call is gonna be around 150 bucks so you cant compare decoys and high end duck calls. two totally different animals.

i do agree, however that you need to blow as many calls out there then go from there.

I have had every comp call at some point and hands down the mvp is the smoothest running and best at top and bottom end. Thats between mvp, boss, krypto and black widow.

I totally disagree with you. I think it is 100% marketing. Let's be honest, most of the high end calls have the same guts anyway (whether they claim to or not). For instance, I know you won't admit to it, but you could pick up an echo or, God forbid, a SGC and with 20 minutes with it, do just as good as you do with your RNT. Why? because you know how to blow a call. You get a couple TV shows and a couple guys that can blow the hell out of any call to sign with RNT and Echo and win a few contests, and you have yourself the new must have call.

Just my .02.

Nothing against any of the calls out there. They are all good. just find one that you like and go to tootin on it.

White Eagle calls of Bartlett, Tenn. $50 and you can have a great comp. call. I just won an intermediate with it, and 8th in a regional!
