Stuck-o-Meter

I've had several threads pertaining to my boy's ability to get ole' blue stuck and with all the rain we've had lately, well you guessed it. I'll get some pics this afternoon. :D Anyway I'm keeping a folder of his misfortunes for sentimental purposes and need someway to grade his performance. So my question is: by what categories do you grade the stick?

How about depth: up to the bottom of the wheel, up to the axles, up to the door, up to the window, up to the roof?

What's required for recovery: log, winch, tractor, twin rotor helicopter

I have always rated mine based on the amount of equipment required to get it out....my personal best was a Trac-hoe and a tractor at the same time.

Here's what my dad did to me to stop that problem... bought a heavy duty come-a-long. After winching it out inch by inch, I quit going places to get stuck.....

There is a complicated formula to calculate the degrees of stuck.

(LOR + RFR + VIR + DOF) x EOD + (SOT x 2) = calculated stuckness

LOR - length or recovery, how long it takes
RFR - requirement for recovery, what is used
DOF - depth of field, how far did he make it before he got stuck
VIR - vehicles involved in recovery, how many stuckers got stuck trying to unstick the stuckie
EOD - experience of driver, younger the driver = more likely to REALLY stick a truck
SOT - size of tires, bigger tires = bigger stick

Or you could just post up some pics and we can judge for you.

I gauge it by what it takes to get it out.

Worst I have seen was a buddy's big tractor in Meridian

took:
F250 with winch
my Z71
Hummer H1 (the military ones, not H2) with winch
another Z71

and finally a Car Hauler truck with a big ol hydraulic winch

Took about 6 hours to get it unstuck.

i would gauge it on how it takes him to come to you for help on getting it unstuck. Cause the worst it is, the longer it will be before he decides he needs your help.

well i don't think he's stuck that bad really but the creative use of the cullvert and tire danging in mid-air did require some artistic skill

You seem to have a good sense of humor about it. Boys will be boys. Just hope he has one one day, and then give him ole blue!

And we will judge by pics.

Well we stared cutting rice on some new formed ground. With all the rain lately I'm pretty sure we will have the 3/4" log chain and the 4" tug rope out. I'll get some pics when it happens.
