Anyone had any experience shooting this gun? I shot one the other day and did not like the trigger pull on it. It felt like pulling the trigger on a plastic toy gun.
I was not very impressed with that aspect of the gun but the reduced recoil was great and obviously the ability to break it down in a few seconds is nice.
Just curious if anyone noticed the same trigger pull problem that I experienced.

I bought one the first week they were available. Haven't noticed anything odd in the trigger pull on mine. I love the thing, very light, easy to break down and clean, and recoils like a 20 ga. I think it's a love it or hate it thing, but like I said, I love mine.

If it comes apart easy.............. It will fall apart easy. I will stick with guns made with metal actions.

I've not seen a Vinci. Does it have a plastic action?

they keep screwing up a good thing. I have a SBE I that i love and is tough as nails. I bought the SBE II and had nothing but trouble with it. It seems like Benelli is going down hill on their auto loaders. I would love to find another SBE I for a good deal.

I will probably be one of those that will purchase a Vinci. I have a Nova and SBE II and have never had an ounce of trouble out of either one. I clean mine once a year and that is at the beginning of duck season.
The Duck Commander crew is currently using them for this seasons hunt and the Vinci was taken down to Argentina for a couple of days of dove hunting and all of those that were able to shoot one praised them.
I think it is either one of those things that you either like or you don't. I know when I first received my Nova from my father as a Christmas gift I was thrown back as it was the strangest shotgun I had ever seen.

Too say the least, big fan of Benelli. The only problem I have with this new design is the unablilty to shot 3.5" shells. Recoil is an after thought. Why would they not build this new model with the capabilty of shooting 3.5's. SBE is my current meat stick.

+1001.... that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard of, a 1500 dollar shotgun and it only slings 3 inches....pun intended...... but i really do agree that its rediculous it only shots 3" shells, plus not to mention its the ugliest, cheap looking gun i have ever laid eyes on.
