trailer length question for a 2010 Polaris ranger CREW?

Postby Duck Sniper » Fri Sep 11, 2009 9:23 pm

I assume a 2009 and 2010 polaris ranger crew are the same length. according to the website, it is a little over 12 feet long (12.08 feet or 145 inches). Do you think it would fit on a 12 foot trailer with a high gate? I'm just thinking that it could stick over the front railing a little....or, am i better off getting a 14 foot trailer?
thanks

I say the 14 footer for sure. I have a regular Ranger and haul it on a 12 foot trailer. If you have a tall gate, the bed of the Ranger will hit the gate. I highly recommend the FasTraps from Sportsman Guide to secure it to the trailer.

Hey Sniper, I just picked up my new '10 Ranger Crew last Friday and backed it up on my 12' trailer & it just did fit. If you back it on all the way until the wheels are up against the front rail, more of the bed will be over the front of the trailer & you can shut the high gate without it touching the front bumper. Just barely, but it will work.

Btw, I love the Ranger as well. They just keep making them better & better.
