Nice image and layout. The red shotshells draw the eye to the "center" area of the pic and keep your attention.

I know nothing about photography but that is a beauty of a gun.

I really like the shot, and I'm the last person on here to give, or from whom to take, critique, BUT

the camo background is a little busy, throw in another dove in the upper right (odd numbers in triangular spacing are always more visually pleasing), and add a couple of empty rounds somewhere to make it look more haphazard and not as arranged, tighten up just a little to get the boards out of the picture.
All in all, though, a great still life.

I wish I had a khaki colored vest.. Then the dove wouldn't blend in so much.... I have a couple of more with the old box of shells in the pic.. But I forgot to turn the time/date stamp off on the camera, and really coupln't crop out the date with out cutting off to much of the gun or the birds. . So next time I will take the time/date stamp off the pic

.. But here is one with the box of shell that adds a little more color.

Does anyone know how to remove the date from the pic

photoshop it out.

If you need I can take a stab at it, but pretty sure Deag can handle it.

I tried, but I don't have photoshop and it didn't turn out so well. I need lots of practice.
