This sounds crazy, but it works!!! Drink about 6-8 ounces of your own urine and the pain and itching will go away almost instantly. The enzymes in it react with the toxins left by the chiggers and neutralize it, leaving you pain and itch free within minutes!!! This really works, and I know several members of this board that have tried it and had it work for them!! Try it and see for yourself!!

Little clear fingernail polish on the bite also works.

People did this thinking that it would suffocate the red bug................this is false.
Once you start to each the red bug/chigger is long gone.....it is not burrowed down in your skin....the itching comes from the saliva left behind

Oatmeal bath....soak for 20 minutes. Do this a couple a times and you will feel better. You can buy this at any pharmacy for 6-10 bucks...walgreens has it.
