i'm not aware of a bowhunter ed. class that is offered....sure it isn't a hunter ed. class ? several states require non-residents to have one regardless of age.... i'll check in on this for you...

Hey deadeye all you will need to hunt out of state is a hunter's ed card. Tyr this number to the MWFD 601-432-2182. I am sure a class will be coming up. Good luck in LA

I am told from a resident of La and a personal friend and fellow bowhunter that if you hunt federal land in that state that you must complete a "bowhunter education coarse" along with a hunter education course. Mid-west states are now implementing this bowhunter ed class.

Thanks for the reponse fella's, that's what makes this site good. Knowledgeable people.

You'll find that several special bow-only areas throughout the U.S. & Canada require a bowhunter's ed certificate.
