Good post Gene. I secon'd that. I didnt get back to the social but from those whom the seminar was directed had good things to say about what they learn't from the presenters--Troy Williams, Travis and Charles Dwyer. Thanks again to Belinda and Charles for the use of your property and to Trey for picking all the food and extras.

Pheasant hunting............. hmmmmmmmm sounds like a future road trip!!!!!! :D

Troy rocked. All charles and I did was hit the choke, pull on the string a couple times, and once it kicked off, got da heck outta the way! Thanks to everyone that made this happen, it was a great way to spend a day.

In my mind, this is the kind of event that seperates our club from a lot of clubs. I think simply being a vehicle for putting on a couple hunt tests a year is a reciipe for failure in the long run... by having events like this and a social that goes along with it, and making the kids feel like a part of it, its the way to really make it a lot more than just 'the dog club'. And i think its paid off big time for southern flight, and will be even more important in the future. travis

I know a place thats got a few of em and we know how to get there!

I've got your cooler and board, Craig took the tent with him.

Had a great time and enjoyed the day. The only way it could have been any better would have been if it was a little cooler. Gene & Duck did a great job cooking as usual! The phesant was better than any I ate in SD that was served at the lodge, it was awsome!

There were a couple of big fish caught too! Ill add pictures tonight or in the morning.

You know you had too much fun when you feel like you have been rolled over by a steam roller the next morning.

My entire family woke up Sun morning exhausted, me included. We sat in the AC all day Sun,
