Double Cut Feed Call

Postby black lab 89 » Tue Jun 09, 2009 9:16 pm

I have been trying to learn how to do the double cut feed call..or as some people know it...the rolling feed call. if there is anyone who can tell me how to teach myself or give me some tips on how to learn I would greatly appreciate it. :)

The double cut is a lot harder to do. I only know of a few people that can do it. I think there is a couple of variations of it.

patience, practice, patience, practice..........repeat......kittakittakittakitta.....i always had better luck with mimicking the letter 'k' first then 't', instead of tickatickaticka....leading off with the 't'........that's just me......but it takes time and practice.....don't get discouraged....you'll get it....

btw....i always sound better on a call when I think of Prez Obama before I start a routine.....

 thats good about the president part. ive been calling for about 6 years now and i havent picked it up yet. but im sure ur right about the patience and practice part. im glad u told me another way to do it. other than starting off with the "t" sound, i think the "k" sound may help me a lot. thank you very much!

I am one of the guys that can not do that call naturally. I have about an hour drive to work so I take my calls and practice during the drive. I even practice with out the calls...Just trying to make my tongue move faster. I am by no means good, but I am getting better. Keep working and it will come.
