Did you see anything wrong with the way Bianco handled the game today? I did not understand why he would not send the runner to second late in the game. Should the 2B started that came in later? What about Virginia running the bases....would the other catcher have slowed some of that?

Virginia really made them look like they didn't want to be there. In the Sat game I think he should have pulled Goforth sooner also. I was really disappointed in today's game.

Yea, I agree with you on the game yesterday, should have pulled him. I do not think there was anyone warming at the time I was thinking he should have taken him out.

The only problem I have with the way he handled the game is do NOT try to sac bunt a man with a guy on second and no outs. None of the players with the exception of henry can lay a quality sac bunt down. Bianco can not make the plays he can just put them in posistion to win. Three errors on simple plays are not the way to get to omaha

Yea the base running by Virginia really made us look silly. Virginia as a total team (Pitching,stealing and hitting) were on top of their game. The announcer made a great point though, Virginia hasn't played at home in over a month. They are riding a wave of momentum.

Several problems with how the game was handled...
Button shouldnt have started, he hasnt done anything special to be kept in
We were one of the top base stealing teams in the nation all year and virgina stole on us almost 4 to 1 if i remember exactly
And we were just to flat out conservative at the plate

Like someone said in a post even before regionals, that bianco has to pull out all the stops and play unexpected to get to the next level and he didnt he actually took a step back, Virginia played without regard like there was not tomorrow and now will be in omaha because of it.
