I'm going to try and get a few tree rats in the morning and would like a new recipe for preparing the little acorn thieves. I like them fried with biscuits and gravy but the wife thinks they are to tough to eat like that. If any of you have a tried and true recipe for squirrels, I would like to have it. Thanks, BL

I'm with the judge on this one. Par boil them till they are tender. If I'm real hungry I'll just dump in some rice and cook it all down. If not then I pitch in a few taters and such and have some stew. Frying them is also mighty tasty. I probably eat more that way than any other. Regardless I never try and feed my wife any.
