First of all I am generally a bad @$$ , but I am deathly afraid of flying and going to the dentist. Both of which are due to near death experiences, or so I thought at the time. Anyway, can anyone reccomend me a dentist who can keep me comfortable and painless????????????????? I have an appointment with Johnathan Germany in Brandon on wednesday. I picked him because of the comercials focussing on no pain. Anyway, please help.

I had a good experience with Randy Woodson here in Jackson. He drilled out and filled four big cavities in all four of my back molars. It took him 2-3 hrs. Pain was about a 1.5-2/10. Young guy who likes to hunt. His office is located by the old jitney premier on old canton.

I don't know anything about sedation dentistry but I'd check on two things: does your dental insurance cover it and how long will you be out of action. Depending on the amount of sedation you may not be able to drive that day.

I think Sam polles (sp) boy is a dentist and have heard some good things about him. Check with Chopper.

I HATED dentists until I went to Mayatte in Brandon. He did a crown, never felt a thing. Nothing. Last dentist that did a crown used a ball peen hammer, chisel and 220 voltage for special affect. Or so I'm guessing. Mayatte and his staff are first class. .

i've seen ramsey's teeth........if anyone ANYONE can keep his booty pain free when working on them, they might be worth looking into, cause RR sure ain't doing no dentist no favors.

Got news for ya. If someone throws a beer bottle at my truck, probably going to be something said. And I am fat and like a frosty one or 20 from time to time. Anyway, I dont care if someone beats up old people and is a Chargers fan/ axe murderer as long as he can fix my teeth pain free at a semi reasonable price.

look you do what you want you asked for advice. if you go with him just know he is a tool and lot of people in rankin county dont like him.

This is coming from a dentist. Be careful when dealing with sedation dentistry. You can become a sedation dentist by taking a few weekend courses and applying for the permit. anybody can give you that "one little pill", but you have to know what you are doing when things go south. Granted, sedation dentistry is pretty safe but there are risks involved. I would prefer to have an anesthesiologist or crna doing the sedation and a dentist doing the dentistry. Just my 2 cents.
