You really can't make this stuff up.
I wonder if any of these hands have Cadillac's with grip spurs and a trunk full of deer dogs?

Kingsland Man Arrested After Shooting
New Edinburg Man Survives Gunshot Wound; Released From Hospital on Monday
RISON - Jeff Parker, 36, of Kingsland, faces charges of first degree battery and four counts of aggravated assault after allegedly shooting a New Edinburg man and allegedly threatening people in a car outside his home on Sunday.
Capt. Gary Young of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department said Parker was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly shot Rodney Beverage, 43, of New Edinburg, during a confrontation between two groups of people at Parker’s home Sunday evening.
Beverage, according to Young, was shot in the chest with a .22-caliber pistol during a disturbance that involved more than 20 people outside Parker’s home on Hwy. 79 in Kingsland.
Meanwhile, Young said two newlyweds who rushed Beverage to the Fordyce hospital after the shooting - Jason and Andrea Huntley - also had charges filed against them Sunday night after failing to cooperate with law enforcement officers at the hospital.
Young said the shooting stemmed from a confrontation between Parker and two women that occurred earlier that evening outside Parker’s home.
According to Young, two women with two children in the back seat of their car pulled up to Parker’s house and began to exchange words with Parker and his wife. Young said the confrontation was primarily between one of the women in the car and Parker’s wife. He said they believe the two women had a long-running dispute.
Young said Parker eventually got a shotgun and allegedly pointed it at the car. He said Parker forced the woman in the passenger seat out of the car into the front yard where the two fought before the woman eventually got back into the car and left.
Young said the sheriff’s department received a phone call about the incident at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday and by the time Deputy Jimmy Billings arrived at the scene about 8:30 p.m., the women in the car were gone.
While Deputy Billings was en route to the scene, Young said Parker apparently had some of his friends come over to his house, and the two women in the car went to relay what had happened to some people who had gathered at a wedding reception for Jason and Andrea Huntley.
Young said several from the wedding party eventually arrived at Parker’s residence at about 8:40 p.m.. In all, Young said estimated that more than 20 people were at Parker’s house at that time.
Deputy Billings, according to Young, tried to keep the two sides apart but when it became apparent that he was not going to be able that, Billings called for back-up.
The Arkansas State Police as well as four the Cleveland and Dallas County Sheriff Departments, and the Rison and Fordyce Police Departments responded to Billings request.
Before the reinforcements arrived, Young said some scuffles broke between some people representing the two groups. It was during this time that Parker allegedly shot Beverage in the chest.
Young said the bullet from the pistol was lodged in Beverage’s upper chest area near his shoulder.
The Huntleys then took Beverage by private vehicle to the emergency room at the Fordyce hospital. Young said Beverage was eventually transferred to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital in Little Rock where he was treated and released Monday.
While the Huntleys were at the Fordyce hospital with Beverage, Young said Deputy Billings arrived there to inform the Huntleys they needed to go to the sheriff’s office in Rison to be interviewed since they were material witnesses to everything that had transpired.
Young said Andrea Huntley became belligerent with Deputy Billings and her husband Jason Huntley soon joined in, eventually knocking Billings to the ground.
Andrea Huntley was then charged with disorderly conduct while Jason Huntley was charged with disorderly conduct, third degree battery for the incident with Billings and resisting arrest.
Young said both were then transported to the sheriff’s office in Rison where they were interviewed and eventually returned to the Fordyce to face their charges of disorderly conduct.
Young said Tuesday that he expects more arrests and more charges to be filed against some of the people at the scene who failed to cooperate with police.
Young also said the sheriff’s department is also investigating allegations that Parker may have “beaten up” someone along Hwy. 189 south of Kingsland earlier Sunday.
The third degree battery charge against Parker is a Class B felony, punishable by five to 20 years in prison and/or a fine not to exceed $15,000.
Young said Parker’s four counts of aggravated assault were for each person in the car that Parker allegedly pointed the shotgun at. Those are Class D felony charges punishable by zero to six years in prison and/or a fine not to exceed $10,000.
Parker was arrested Sunday and placed in the Cleveland County Jail at Rison. He appeared for his first court hearing and was released Monday after posting $10,000 bond.
