15 limit on morning doves. You are correct, the Eurasian or ringneck doves have no limit.

Thanks!

the ring-nek dove is some-what smaller than a pidgeon but has a head the same size as a mourning dove..... large body- small head...... a little lighter grey in color but his dead give away is the squared off tail with a band of white on the end of the tail feathers.....{ i like the DEAD give awy my-self} have never ate one, but will give a try if the opportune arises.......haha........

Thanks, D1.

Louis, you'll probably see some of those mutant doves when you're up here. There is a pair in my grandmother's yard right by our farm shop. The have a different call than a mourning dove, are lighter gray and are between the size of a dove and pigeon.

I have heard reports that these Eurasian doves are swarming the Delta, particularly near Isola.

I plan on bringing a little white paint with me next Monday just in case.

Just wondering if anyone has ever tasted one of the "super doves". Just wanting to know what to expect when I bite into one.

They taste a little like Bald Eagle. Just kiddin', come on now you know it was a joke. Ok not even a good one.

For real though, I have seen a lot of them on one of my dove fields, when they are flying the squared off tail, as mentioned above is a dead give away. I will be surprised if we dont whack a few.
