Bought one yesterday. Put 400 rounds through it yesterday and today. Looks a little odd but grows on you. I love it. VERY low recoil and unlike my SBE II not a single misfire even with 7/8 oz target loads. The only negative is the lack of 3 1/2 inch chambering, which they tell me is coming next year. I'll buy one of those too. So far I'm very impressed

They look like some kinda futuristic weapon out of Star Wars.

Wow--that's the ugliest shotgun I've ever seen, bar none. But, to each his own.

Dam thats ugly. Hope its performance makes up for it.

I got the opportunity to shoot this gun back in January at SHOT Show and was somewhat impressed. The gun honestly didn't offer me much more than what I had found when shooting the SBE II. Not sure if everyone has seen or heard but Remington has released the 887 which is a newer version of the 870. Being an avid believer that the 870 is the most dependable shotgun that I have shot, I had my doubts with the 887 but I was impressed. The recoil pad is superb and AmorLock coating is sure to keep it from getting banged up in the field under the worst conditions.

Take a look for yourselves if you have not already done so.. I will be purchasing one for the upcoming duck season and giving the ole 870 a much needed rest after 10 years of abuse.

That has got to be the ugliest shotgun I have ever seen. I would really have to do a lot of thinking before i paid out that much money for this ugly thing. I think that I'll stick to my Mossberg 835, the SBE, or the old reliable 870.

Looks like a humpback browning forearm on a Nova frame! That 887 looks pretty cool though-wonder if they are making it for lefties yet?

I messed with one in Hawk's the other day and it feels really good. The thing I didn't like was the price and the lack of 3.5. I really like the way the gun comes apart though. Pretty cool.
