Breeding Related Testing

It's come time for me to get the hips x-rays done on my female. What other test do ya'll think think should be done? I'd like to make sure she is all clear. Hips, eyes, eic,.... what are the other test i should get done?

I take it you plan on pimpin' her out hence the all the test. If so the CNM test needs to be added to the list. t

At your age I'd say yes! You can never be too safe/sure! :twisted:

you need to holler at cdwyer to get the name of the vet he uses...would be fairly close to you too.

i talked to lee the other day told him we were planing a feild day there lol. got to get eyes done in memphis or starkville so i figured i'd plan a training day some where when we decide on that. hips sooner the better the other stuff can wait untile u decide to breed, or if u got the money to do it all at one time.

I ain't planning on pimping her out anytime soon that's for sure. I know hips should be done as close to turning 2 as possible and was just trying to see what other test i need to be looking at getting done.

If you want one of those circus dogs though, mine does a wonderful dance routine :lol: :lol: :lol: I'm sure she'd pass that on.

Hips, elbows, CERF, CNM, EIC.

Dr. Lee Payne is the hips and elbow guy. He's in Oxford, knows what to look for and how to shoot it.

Cerf is only good for 12 months.

EIC is taking 2 weeks here lately. CNM got to send it to France. Takes about 30 days. Requires a cheek swab no blood.
