Prayers Needed. (UPDATE)

You all might remember about 2 weeks back I put up a post concerning my fiance's grandfather and how he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor that we later found out was cancerous. The biopsy was performed in Tampa and shortly after Mr. Dawkins was airlifted to Baptist East in Memphis.
When the biopsy confirmed that the tumor was cancerous the decision was made to not undergo any treatment. The doctors all made it clear that his body was in no condition to undergo the chemo or radiation. Since this decision, the staff at Baptist East did an exceptional job at keeping him comfortable. The past three days have showed a decrease in his health which we suspected was to come. Last night around 8:30 he passed peacefully with his family by his side.
Mr. Dawkins was the type of man that one could sit and listen to for hours without saying a word. His stories seem to never get old, no matter how many times you heard them. He was an elder and deacon of the Olive Branch Church of Christ where he attended every Sunday with his wife. I truly feel that it was an honor for me to have had the opportunity to know him. He now walks beside the lord and watches over us as we continue through our days.
I ask that everyone add the entire Dawkins and Blaydes family to their prayers as they began the healing process.
Thank you and God Bless.
Christopher
