Obama....No, I do NOT wish him success!!!

Postby dukluk » Thu Jan 22, 2009 11:50 pm

This is one of the best pieces of writing that I've read about everyone's infatuation with Obama!!!....it was written by a friend of mine....NOT a politician or a talking head from tv....take notes Sgt. Lunsford and other Obama supporters!!!....not about race....it's about Obama's non-experience, ideals, and track record....of COURSE, everyone wants America to succeed, but Obama's agenda will bring us into socialism.

I realize it's nobody's fault but my own for not speaking my mind, but I've honestly been very apprehensive about having a negative opinion of Obama, much less saying so out loud. This is the 1st time I've ever felt that way. Afraid to speak up for the fire I would draw.
It seems almost everyone I know has lost their mind and fallen for this supercharged media product, bowing at his feet, lapping up the "he's so articulate, he speaks so well, he's so inspiring"

Has everyone lost their friggin' MINDS?!?!?

From what I can see almost all critical thought is gone, the darling of the media can never do any wrong and people just keep looking up at this completely produced-product like a schoolboy looking at his 1st crush.

It's extremely frightening.

Most of these lemmings couldn't tell you three things about Obama's political standing, how he's voted or things he's tried (or not tried) to do to improve our Country.

Most people listen to his very well written speeches and attribute all the content and just connect it all together and think it's all him. From the get go, they've fallen in love with something that doesn't even exist.

Listen to him speak off the cuff and you'll see he's arrogant & condescending, among other things.

I've said it myself, and heard more than a few conservatives say, "I didn't vote for him but I wish him success."

The truth is I DO NOT want him to succeed. If he succeeds with the things he's laid out as campaign promises and does it in the way he says he wants to do it, our republic will become socialist, but for some reason nobody is speaking up and saying that.

The frenzy that most folks have gotten themselves whipped in to will draw attacks from anyone that offers opposition to this "media messiah."

I don't have anything personal against the man. I don't wish him any personal ill will. I DO hope he fails miserably in his professional endeavors and is blasted out of office with more enthusiasm than he was ushered in with, as soon as humanly possible. I don't want to give him a chance, I don't want to see how it goes, I don't want him to be our Commander-in-Chief and I don't want him to handle our foreign affairs. He's already told us what he wants to do and how he wants to do it.

Wake the hell up, America, and think for yourselves!!!

That must've come straight off one of the right wing websites (think Hannity, Limbaugh). Your writer thinks anyone who didn't support Bush is a lemming........talk about condescending! I personally think we need a strong third or even fourth party in this country. Neither the democrats or the republicans represent me anymore........

I didnt vote for Obama but I damn sure hope he is the best President we ever had! Only time will tell, we need it in the worst way right now.....and dont confuse my hope for a successful presidency with hope for success in his agenda. I dont agree with his stance on many of the social issues, but I certainly hope he is successful in getting our economy back on track, finding a meaningful solution to the wars and doing something about our dependence on foreign oil. If you dont support that then you are insane!

It's not the Supporting of OBAMA... It's the red-neck bubba mentality of racism. It's wrong. It's wrong from them and it's wrong from us. Killem with kindness. I've noticed a big difference in the Black peoples mannerisms, good and bad. Same with the whites i guess. If you are kind to them the way GOD commanded us to be, 90% of the time there attatude to you changes.
Racism is WRONG. The N word flies around here like the snot has been flying on my klennexes. It's wrong

Did i say i don't like Obama. Well i don't like Obama. But guess what, it's not because he is black

This is exactly what is happening to our country people. We are "making" new political parties, new christian denominations, and social groups to "fit" our likings. WE DON"T ALWAYS GET IT THE WAY WE WANT! There has to be some compromise in everything. There is less and less "black and white" anymore. There is too much grey area. I agree with everything from the first post. President Obama's beliefs and what he is trying to succeed at in his presidency is very dangerous to our future as Americans.

Just remember there is a difference between a reggin and a black person, and 90% of them will tell you that too, this goes for all races there are some people who are just like you and me who want a good paying job to take care of there family and have a little fun money to play with everynow and then. Trust me I dont like obama with a passion and I will continue to not like him and voice my true opinions when asked remember the democrats have been the same way about bush for the last few years and they didnt have any problem pointing out his mistakes but i do want obama to have a succesfull presidency just for the plain and simple fact that our country cant handle 4-8 more years like the way it is now.

Nobody here has been any less kind to black people. Truth be known, white people have a problem if they will really admit it that he is black, even if he was a war hero staunch Republican that happened to be Ronald Reagan's long lost son. The biggest problem is what he is trying to do to our country. You can throw out his beliefs on gays, abortion, and religion, and just dwell on the socialistic attitude he wants our country to start moving toward.

I wasn't for him. the reason was I didn't know anything about him. I am liking him better the more I hear him. First he's trying to bring the nation together as a whole. He's put opponents, people that disagree with him etc. on his cabinet. If he doesn't know about a subject, he has surrounded himself with people that do. That management 101. He trying to get bipartsanship eliminated so everyone is pulling in the same direction. i say let's get behind him until he proves us wrong. he can't control what the nations blacks think nor does he agree with them. On the otherhand, if I were black i would be happy too. Its like being a State fan and winning the BCS Championship for them.

Not wanting the President to succeed is like waking up hoping you get fired, lose all your assets, and losing your freedom.

Stupidest thing I've ever heard. Sure, I didn't vote for him, but hoping AMERICA doesn't succeed? What the heck?

I didnt vote for the guy but he is our president, so what choice do we have but to support him? You want him to fail? Why? What good would come out of him failing? If he fails, then we all fail to an extent, seeing as how were all in this togeather at this point. That kinda statement is a good example of the ignorance that rears its head around here from time to time, imo. By the way, im so sick of hearing about all this $#!+ i didnt read the thread, just the title.

I hope he is successful but I hope all his plans fail or the bills get rewritten alot different than he wants. Otherwise in 4 years we will be in full blown socialism and will not be able to buy a gun or won't be able to afford one because of the taxes he plans to put on them and ammuntion.

I dont believe that $#!+. I think the whole "hes gonna take our guns" is $#!+ propaganda at best created by people who fear him. He cant snap his fingers and these things happen, has a lot of senators and reps to go thru. Plus, we got this thing called the 2nd Amendment. Reminds me of the southpark episode . . . They took our jooooooobs!
