Does anyone know where I can purchase live training birds in north MS?

Seeing as though you are from "memfrica" :lol: , you ought to slide on down to the first monday flea market in Ripley. Judge JB ought to be able to give you directions.

Here's what we used to do, if you decide you don't want to pay money for pigeons: take a large fishing net and scoop pigeons from their roosts under overpasses and in parking garages at night. Most parking garage managers are glad for you to reduce the amount of pigeons that crap on the corporate fleets.

Just an idea.

Also scout around for vacant building where pigions roost. Go there at night and with a flash light and dip net you will have more fun than training your dog.Plus you might be able to sell some to other trainers.

Check the MS Market Bulletin- Somebody near you will have pigeons or ducks for sale.

come to our small quite county of Tippah and follow the signs to Ripley on any first monday of the month, then tighten your seatbelt and hold on and follow the traffic........ geeezzzz...... everyone should live in the flea market capitol of the world.... plenty of doves for sale if you want to wait the traffic and crowds...... good luck.....haha......
