rice at the shack

spent all week at the barn and shack, bush-hoggin and general clean up.. i have a good stand of rice in the bottom, only wish i knew what to expect out of it.. never delt with rice unless it was in boiling water.. i dropped the water level enough to expose a few feet of bank and sowed it the week after the DU fest.. has been dry here and evaporation is playing a big role.. without a rain the only way i can put water over it is to pump. no big deal, what do you suggest? if any of you fellows want to come look at the shack and rlax at the barn, holler and bring your 4-wheeler, knee boots and drinks... a good place for a small gathering for an evening.
