Promise Keepers - Jackson

Don't know if any my fellow Christian hunters attended this event this past weekend, if you didn't, you really missed an awesome spectacle. 8,000 men worshiping and growing in their spiritual walk, what a beautiful sight. There were alot of families that were changed over the weekend right in in Mississippi.

If you ever get the opportunity to attend a Promise Keepers event, I pray you will. George Bernard Shaw was asked while on his death bed, "If you could live your life again, who would you like to be?" He answered, "I would be the man George Bernard Shaw could have been".

Hey Deadeye, I wouldn't worry too much about what a prank caller newbie thinks about your going to PK this weekend. It sounds like it was a great event for you.

Then lets keep football, and politics, school, and work, and everything else that we talk about here other than duck hunting off of here too. It's not my website, but I don't think any of it is going anywhere.

Welcome to the board aj.

I second that!

AJ, you represent the 1% of the population that ruins the other 99%'s freedoms.

Learn to accept things. We do.

Religion is hardly in the same catigory as football and work. If that's what they want to do, fine. But I could be an athiest or worship Budda, in which case I would be offended w/ someone pushing their Christian beliefs on me in this forum. Let's stick to the more basic topics.

Then whatdayasay you exercise your freedom to choose whether or not you will read and respond to topics that are offensive to you. I sure would hate to further offend you my good man.

Honestly, bad grammar and poor spelling offends me. But it happens from time to time, and I don't ever say anything to anyone. Life's too short, just skip the topic if you don't like it.

I too had intended on going, but had forgotten the dates.

aj, as for anyone pushing their beliefs on you, I would have to disagree. Noone pushed their beliefs on you, Deadeye was just making a comment and asking if others went. It is you that chose to take as if someone was pushing their beliefs on you.

Mossy Island/Rocky, when is the next video coming out?

Can we not mention that we attended the DU festival just because someone has a problem with DU? No one has pushed anything on you. These guys are just talking about attending an event where they had a good experience. That is no different than me saying I ate a good steak the other night! Can I not say that for fear of offending a vegetarian? Learn to accept things. I hear things everyday that I may not agree with, but I understand that we are all different. Let's all just get along in here. No one is trying to push anything on you. No need to get hostile over it.

aj, a little sensitive aren't you? If we are going to stick to even just the basics, should we apply the same criteria of "offensiveness" to determine whether or not someboody should say something? I am "offended" by robo ducks, the very idea of a 30 day duck season and people who spout off unfounded drivel off about DU or DW, but I certainly am not going to ask people to quit expressing their views or dislike the speaker because of what he likes or says.
