Boston 2nd Split Opener

Postby MudHog » Sat Dec 13, 2008 11:36 am

Myself and a buddy: (4) blue wing teal, (2) green wing teal, (1) ringneck (edit) and (1) spoonbill. Seen a good bit of greenheads for the area, but nothing showed interest to us.

Teal are sure good to eat. That might be a bad hunt for you, but it would be a good one in southeast La.
Shoot them sprigs on their first pass!

no implications that it's a bad hunt and it's good one in my eyes. I'm by far a person that has to go out and kill greenheads. Just being in the blind shooting is worth it.

That's a drake ringneck in the picture, not a bluebill.

Still very solid results over in my neck of the marsh. Just wished we had more water to make the hunting a little easier. Also have I mentioned before I wish we could shoot a canvasback?
