i have a galco that is a clip on,but they are not cheap,i paid i think abour 65 for it about 12 years ago, have you tried www.galls.com, my other holters are safariland and uncle mikes, leather will be a lot more expensive and if you carry it a lot during the summer the salt from sweat will make the holster break down, the uncle mikes is made of cordura and i have not torn it up, had it about 10 years at its been through everthing, rain, briars, heat of the truck, you willhave todo some maintenice on the leather, if you buy a cheap leather it willnot last long when you snag it on somthing, my 2c

You can get a leather Don Hume for $40 or less. It's a very comfortable quality holster.

when i was in metro and did not have to wear a duty belt I liked those hard plastic holsters

of course on a raid we would carry tactical holsters on our thigh. thinking back on it i miss working in metro
