Can't find weights heavy enough to hunt the main channel. Plus towboats will sink you.

Its tough right now! We haven't been seeing many ducks up here towards Memphis. If the ducks ever get down it may get a little better but right now it sucks. We've been huntin out of layout blinds, but if there aint no birds, you aint gonna kill em.

I hunt the river just north of Memphis and I'm seeing alot of birds but with the water so low there is just no where to hide. I think I'm gonna stay home this weekend.

Hunt right IN the main channel as that is where the water is and were the ducks want to be. Ruels of the road says a duckboat restricted in its ability to maneuver has the right of way over a stinking towboat. They will look out for you.

I've hunted the river around Desoto Lake area, and just south, and north of there, and I've had pretty good luck hunting the river.
