I have been trying to get my claim taken care of for 3 weeks on my 4 wheeler I keep getting the run around either the tn office tells me to call the ms office and then the ms office tells me to call the tn. I have not talked to one person in the god knows how many that has a clue as to what is going on. As I said I would not insure my dog house or anything else with state farm.

Slid away from them last year after they tried to add another level that I would have to have to get the Rhino insured (tried earlier with '01Yukon with no tickets, no wrecks) and went with Shelter!

Two calls....that's all....first, to the MS Ins. Commission....second, to the MS Public Service Commission....both are listed on the State of MS website....NO ins. company likes to be reported to either.

Tell them to fix it. Wasn't it over 3G to fix it. Or tell them to give you 3G and let you keep the bike.

Yes I do and just got off the phone with him. According to N.A.D.A. for a 2001 TRX500FA Foreman Rubicon which by the way was the only model made that year. Low retail is 2040.00 High Retail is 2680.00 The bike listed new for 6999.00 and usually sold new from 57 to 6200.00 First off I don't see how you can expect the insurance company to give you more than the high retail value. Now you can always sue the man who had the insurance and his insurance co for more but you probably won't get it. Not to mention what you will spend in attorny's fees by doing so.
Now if you go over to Kelly Blue Book They show the high retail to be 3065.00 for the same bike. If you show that to the insurance co you might can get them up to that but don't expect any more. The bike is only worth around 24 to 2600.00

So how is that there was nothing wrong with my 4 wheeler until this guys kid hits my 4 wheeler breaking the mounting bracket for the rack totaling the bike out.

1st i had not reason nor desire to purchase a new bike or get rid of mine

2nd i spent over a thousand dollars last year fixing everything that could be wrong with by a honda certified tech

3rd if you look on traderonline I can not even purchase a 2001 Honda Rubicon for less than 3999.00

4th I am getting the shaft cause this guy lets his kid run wild its going to cost me anohter 1500 to purchase a bike like that one I had.

i am getting F U C K E D IN THE booty AND NOT EVEN GETTING A KIS OR A REACH AROUND F U C K ME RUNNING

I understand your feelings totaly but you asked the question and I checked. Your only other remedy like I said is to sue? Sorry I know it's not what you wanted to hear but don't blame state farm! They are not doing anything any other insurance company wouldn't do!

Wonder if you can sue and claim that it messed up your entire hunting season?

Like BR said it is called depreciation. Just like it would be on a car or truck but much more on an ATV. Sorry.

Not sure if this would help but here is an idea. Since your ins. on the bike is taking care of the claim, at least as far as I understand, why not take the money find the exact model in the same condition. Tell the kids folks who ran in to it to pick up the difference or see you in court, but offer them the old bike, might help with the negotiation process. Couldn't hurt, also, you said you were member of the club at one time and the President's kid is the culprit. Doesn't the club have to be an LLC or have some sort of Liability? If he is still the President, explain to him that things could get a lot worse if the matter is not resolved in a timely fashion. I think you are at the end of the road with the ins. company. Just some suggestions. Good Luck man.
