I am an avid bird hunter and most people don't agree with my opinion but here goes..Bobwhite quail hunting will never be any good in Mississippi..habitat improvement might help it slightly but I have traveled to other states that have so many more birds it aint funny..

I think we should move on and try to introduce a species that could thrive in our current habitat..after all pheasant, chukar and gray partridge are introduced..Heck Idaho has quail that are introduced and they have much more than we do..
